Timeless, Graceful Proportions with Sustainable Quality

Few benches available in the marketplace harmonize with public settings and architectural styles as well as the Monticello Bench. Visitors to your institution or gallery will immediately recognize the timeless, graceful proportions and the careful attention paid to all details.

What is better for public seating than warm, exquisitely finished solid wood? What is better for the environment? The Monticello Bench is expertly crafted from select wood planks. Each bench incorporates milled stainless steel fittings and proprietary polymer floor protectors.

Substance and stability, smooth surfaces, and a firm armrest invite all, including seniors, to sit comfortably and to rise from the seat with minimal difficulty.

Installations

The Visitor Center at Monticello

After some time a new project for exhibits at the Visitor Center at Monticello arrived. Modeling and refinements for a new version of the bench followed. Built out of stunning Spanish cedar to match the interiors, the Monticello Bench is a triple-wide "stretch" version of the Mark Twain. An armless Monticello, with no back, was produced as well.
